14 dead in Building Collapse, Mumbai, Rescue operations still in progress
Mumbai, Dongri: 14 people died and 9 peolpe badly injured in the building collapse, Rescue operations still in progress.
As a compensation, CM Devendra Fadnavis has declared to give ₹5 lacks to the families of those killed in the accident and ₹50,000 to the injured ones.
Also the medical treatment of the injured will be done by the Maharashtra Government.
The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team explained about how the search and rescue operation continued the entire night and was still on.
'' Our rescue operations will go on till the last piece of rubble is not removed from the spot'' he said.
According to the people present at that instant- there were few customers at an eatery situated in the ground floor and no one knew the exact numbers.
'' So our job is still left to rescue those mens'', the NDRF team said.
- It's the second time a building collapsed in Mumbai within 10 days.
